Itinerary Kos - Patmos - Kos

1st day: check in 17h

Departure for Pserimos (10 miles) after check in.

A small village on the southern coast of Pserimos with the only beach of the area.

Two, three taverns on the beach, a few houses, a church: that is the village

If you want even more peace, a large deserted bay opens in the east of the island

2nd day: Palionissos (Kalymnos)

Kalymnos is the island of the sponge divers. Very arid, it offers superb moorings however.

Avoid the main harbour, Pothia, very noisy, and anchor in Palionissos: a very beautiful bay on the East coast.

Walk up to Nicolas, close to the shore, under the trees. This sponge diver and owner of the tavern will tell you his history. He speaks French, English and Italian

3rd day Lipsoi

A quiet harbour with taverns on the sea shore

Before entering the harbour anchor in one of the beautiful moorings on the southern coast

4^th day Patmos

The island where Saint John was exiled and wrote the ‘Apocalypse’..

For more than 1000 years the monastery has protected the island which was under its jurisdiction little time ago

Harbour in town (Skala) or good moorings on the East coast

5^th day Arki

Within 12 miles from Patmos, Arki is a nearly deserted island. 2 taverns in the end of the deep bay used as harbour on the western coast

Superb moorings in turquoise waters in the south east of the island.

6^th day Leros

Anchor in the small harbour of Panteli on the East coast of Leros

7th day Kos

After a last mooring in Pserimos, join Kos marina in the end of the afternoon

Go for dinner in the old town

8th day: check out 09:00 h

If you have spare time, leave your luggage to the marina and visit the Hippocrate’ s hospital
