Itinerary Bodrum (1 week )
A highly recommended itinerary for the lovers of deserted
anchorages. You will not encounter any towns or marinas during this cruise.
Some tavernas will give you the
opportunity to fill up your water supplies and to do some limited provisioning.
Day 1 Bodrum
Embarkation at 17.00 p.m.
You can spend the night in Bodrum or sail directly to one of the first anchorages
at short distance : Karada,
Gorecek adasi or Orak adasi.

Day 2 Cokertme
A large bay surrounded and sheltered by mountains on the north coast
of the gulf. There are some houses and two tavernas,
where you will be able to fill up your water
supplies.

Day 3 Degirmen

In the back there is only
one house, belonging to the
President of the Republic ( he
has good taste ) and two small
tavernas.
There are many places to choose
anchorage, shelter is perfect here.

Day 4 Yedi
Adalar
« The 7 islands » where you will discover
the anchorage you always wished
for.
Be careful, the
passages between the islands are not always very obvious, don’t
forget to consult your map.

Day 5 Cnidos
Anchorage at Cnidos, west of the almost island
of Datca.
The only place in the
world where you can anchor in an authentic ancient port, just below the
theatre which is located right in the middle of the ruins of the ancient
city.
The first village is
at 8km distance.
There is one taverna
on the beach.

6eme
jour : Gumusluk
A small village on the coast north
to Bodrum.
There are some excellent restaurants on the beach and
it is the
favourite place of the
Turks to eat fish when they are on holidays in Bodrum.
When ordering fish,
it is customary
to go into the kitchen and choose
the fish yourself.

Day 7 Bodrum
The islands south
of Gumusluk have beautiful anchorages where you can have a last swim.
Along a long coast you will sail
back to Bodrum.
In the evening you can
enjoy night life in Bodrum,
it is the
undisputed hot-spot of the Aegean Coast
of Turkey.

Day 8 Disembarkation
at 09.00 p.m.
If you have time enough before your
departure, you can leave your
luggage with the supervisor of the base and go and visit the
medieval castle of Saint Peter.
It was built by the Knights of Rhodes and is still
intact. Now the castle houses the Museum of Underwater Archaeology, wich is renowned all over the world.
